Our Mission

World Grace Project empowers multilingual community leaders to resource, develop and integrate refugee and immigrant communities toward long-term self-sufficiency in the Cedar Valley.

We accomplish this by serving as a network that connects communities to the broader Cedar Valley, strengthening community connections, supporting leadership development and fostering collaborative partnerships that help remove barriers, build trust and create opportunities for every neighbor to thrive.

Like tending a field, strong communities are cultivated through trust, hospitality and shared purpose.

Our Approach

We believe every community already has trusted leaders.

Rather than creating parallel systems, we come alongside multilingual community leaders who understand the language, culture and experiences of their neighbors.

Together, we serve as a bridge between communities and the broader Cedar Valley—connecting families with resources, linking organizations with community leaders and strengthening relationships that make existing services more accessible.

We also recognize and build on the strengths already present within immigrant communities. Many of our neighbors bring deep agricultural knowledge and experience. In the past, we supported workforce programming through hydroponics—providing training and selling hydroponic systems and parts as a way to create economic opportunity and connect people to food systems. While this is not a primary focus today, it reflects our ongoing commitment to honoring community skills and exploring pathways for self-sufficiency.

This community-centered approach builds trust, encourages belonging and creates lasting impact because it grows from within the communities themselves.
